Age Policy

POUCHUP sells nicotine pouches, which are age-restricted products. This policy explains our age rule and how we apply it. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Legal purchase age only

You must be of legal purchase age to browse, buy or receive products from POUCHUP — 18 or over in the UK, and 21 or over in the US. We do not sell to anyone under the legal purchase age under any circumstances, and we do not sell to adults buying on behalf of someone under it.

2. Why

Our products contain nicotine, which is an addictive chemical. Selling nicotine products to people under 18 is against UK law, and selling to people under 21 is against US federal law — and both are against everything we stand for. We would rather lose a sale than sell to the wrong person.

3. Age confirmation

Age is confirmed by self-declaration: an age gate asks you to confirm your age when you enter the site, and you must tick a confirmation at checkout stating you are of legal purchase age before you can place an order. We do not currently use a third-party age-verification service. By completing an order you confirm that you are of legal purchase age and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. ID checks on delivery

ID may be requested on delivery to confirm the recipient is of legal purchase age, and the courier may refuse to hand over a parcel if it cannot be satisfied of this. Orders that cannot be handed to someone of legal purchase age may be returned to us.

5. Misrepresenting your age

Providing false information about your age is a breach of our Terms of Service. We may cancel any order, refuse future orders, and where appropriate report attempts to obtain age-restricted products unlawfully.

6. Nicotine — important notice

Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Our products are intended only for existing adult nicotine users. They are not intended for non-users, and if you do not already use nicotine, the honest advice is not to start. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
